DURING THE HONGKONG DAISY PROMOTION

HONGKONG ARRIVAL - APRIL 06 2006 - THURSDAY

Jeon Ji Hyun and Lee Sung Jae arrived at the Hong Kong airport at around 1.45pm. There were only 7 fans present and they were all Ji Hyun's fans. Many reporters showed up. Everyone was surrounding both Ji Hyun and Sung Jae who had no idea where to go. Ji Hyun on the other hand, was very polite and waved to everyone. One guy (who was the president of the Jeon Ji Hyun Hong Kong fanclub) presented Ji Hyun with a bunch of flowers. Bunch of daisies, of course and she gave him a big hug in return. Meanwhile, the reporters around kept asking Ji Hyun questions in Cantonese. Since there were no translators with them, she just smiled at them and left.

HONG KONG PREMIERE - APRIL 06 2006 - THURSDAY

The premiere was set at night. When Ji Hyun went on stage, the whole attention was on her as she continue to pose for the cameras. Ji Hyun used Chinese and English for her speech. Director Andrew Lau said that Jung Woo Sung was afraid seeing so many reporters around while Lee Sung Jae said he had never seen the director being so happy.

A birthday song was then played out of nowhere and a clown gave Ji Hyun a bunch of flowers which made her a bit suprised. She didn't know what was happening and thought that the flowers were for her. The clown then signalled her to give the flowers to Andrew Lau since it was his birthday 2 days ago (April 4th). The whole event turned to a surprise party for Andrew. Ji Hyun presented him the flowers and gave him a kiss on the cheek. His face turned red saying that "It was so sweet". He also joked that he felt a bit shy being kissed in public since his wife was there. "Many people like to kiss me, but this is the first time I've been kissed publicly." Shawn Yue, Dou Man Chak and 2R was also present at the premiere.

HONG KONG LANEIGE PROMO EVENT - APRIL 07 2006 - FRIDAY

Ji Hyun attended a 'Laneige' promotional event that night since her newest commercial for 'Laneige' will debut in Hong Kong the week after. Actor Kevin Cheng and model Amanda Strang were also the VIP for the event. Ji Hyun nearly tripped over when coming on stage but she won over the photographers with the cute faces she made during the ceremony. The roar went out of control when she made the 'nipping finger' pose. She was shocked and asked the translator why they were shouting. The reporters yelled 'SEXY!', making her laugh and humbly thanked them in Mandarin. Then Kevin Cheng presented Ji Hyun a crystal mask. He was also mesmerized by Ji Hyun's beauty and couldn't resist looking at her. He said that he had watched 'My Sassy Girl' for 3 times and praised Ji Hyun saying that she's not only beautiful but also a very talented actress. When asked if he would wish to have a chance to cooperate with Ji Hyun, he answered that he wouldn't mind what characters would be give to him as long as he gets to work with her.

HONG KONG PAINTING AUCTION AND MALL TOUR - APRIL 08 2006 - SATURDAY

The function was to auction the drawings from 'Daisy' and to donate the money collected to UNICEF. There were a large crowd present. The 3 main leads and the director were all present. Ji Hyun looked very tired but when she saw her fans and the little Korean kids who were part of the presentation, her face glowed and was very delighted. She kept massaging the little kid's face. Jung Woo Sung, Lee Sung Jae and Ji Hyun added more things to be auctioned by drawing/painting and signing on a flower pot.

HONG KONG FILM AWARDS - APRIL 08 2006 - SATURDAY

Some of Hong Kong's biggest names were present in one of the most prestigious award ceremonies of Hong Kong. The three main leads of 'Daisy' were also there to present the 'Best Asian Movie'.
