Yes, it's been really quiet lately with absolutely no news or anything new about her, but the power of Ji Hyun is still going strong judging from these polls.
• Korea celebrated Black Day on the 14th of this month and a beer company asked netizens which celebrities they'd want to spend that special day with. Ji Hyun came in second place for the females with 12.1% of the votes.
• Another poll, this time asking which celebrities are the Most Popular Stars of the first half of 2008. Last year, Ji Hyun topped the female actors list but this year she moved down to second place with 8.5% of the votes. A total of 1404 people participated in 5 major cities nationwide, ages raging from 16 to 65. This popularity survey has been going on for 5 years and Ji Hyun's only been out of the top 5 once!!
• Ji Hyun just finished shooting another Anycall Haptic CF this time with three DBSK boys, including her fanboy Yunho.  edit, apparently Ji Hyun is not included in this CF only DBSK and the girl group SNSD.

Finally, some new pictures from the set of Ji Hyun's upcoming new movie 'Blood The Last Vampire'. These were taken from her co-star Masiela Lusha's official website where she also posted an interview of her about the film. There's still no official release date but here are some possible dates:
• October 8 (according to Masiela's Official Website)
• October 30 (Russian release according to IMDB)
• July 2008 (according to Pathe Distribution)

Gianna accidentally punched me in the nose. My nose swelled up, but I think our director liked the realism of the whole thing so when you see my nose bleeding in the film, it is real blood. Despite the injuries, I would do it all over again, and then some! .... I had such a good time in between takes as well. Watching Allison Miller and Gianna Jun swinging from the ropes was amusing! There weren't any bloopers but we managed to keep ourselves amused between takes with Allison's crossword booklets. |
